Vector Uploads
Artwork Upload Guidelines
Ensure flawless print quality for your custom signage. Learn why vector files are required for logos and graphic artwork, and how to submit photos or multi-tone images.
Logos & Custom Designs: Vector Files Only
To ensure crisp edges, sharp text, and perfect scaling on large-format signs, all logos, emblems, text layouts, and custom artwork must be uploaded as vector files.
Vector files use mathematical paths rather than pixels. They can scale from a business card to a massive highway banner without losing quality or becoming blurry.
Raster files are made of fixed pixel grids. When scaled to physical sign dimensions, logos saved as PNG or JPG become pixelated, fuzzy, and produce poor print results.
The industry standard vector format. Preferred for logos, vinyl plotting, and large-format printing.
Modern web & design vector format. Retains exact mathematical curves and crisp line definitions.
Must be exported from design software (Illustrator/InDesign) with vector paths and outline fonts preserved.
Photos & Multi-Tone Image Uploads
While logos require vector files, continuous-tone imagery like photos, headshots, or complex background pictures are accepted as high-resolution raster images.
| Artwork Category | Accepted Formats | Resolution Requirement | Best Used For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Logos, Text & Line Art | EPS, SVG, Vector PDF | Infinite (Resolution Independent) | Logos, symbols, custom lettering, clean branding |
| Photographs & Imagery | JPG, High-Res PNG, TIFF, PDF | 300 DPI at 100% Scale (Min 150 DPI) | Headshots, property photos, full-color graphic backgrounds |
When submitting vector files containing custom typography, please ensure all fonts are converted to Outlines / Curves (Ctrl+Shift+O or Cmd+Shift+O in Adobe Illustrator). This prevents font substitution errors during production.
